The 90 degree or TIGHTER knee bend that 6 feet tall riders experience, with no real opportunity to place the feet forward to relax that knee bend, is what stopps me from buying a Gold Wing

I just got myself a 2001 Yamaha V Star Venture I watched several videos comparing it to the Gold Wing I bought this bike so my wife and son would have a more comfortable ride When I first sat on one, I loved it I've seen several of your videos on the Venture, which helped me make my decision My question to you is, which one do you like the most?

you meant the 3 greatest behind the bmw k1600GTL and the Great Wall Motor Company's Souo S2000GL boxer 8 with a 2000cc engine Up until now honda's big six was second but only if you discounted the raft of giant V-twins also in the heavy cruiser mode BMW's uber-luxury sport tourer had my vote until this year when the Souo showed up on the market Now there is no way back from a flat eight except possibly a boxer 10 but nobody has one yet so we'll have to wait and see I'm sorry if you feel that the goldwing is the ultimate but it is now just so much yesterday's news Try the new king of the road - the Souo S2000GL and tell me if you think I'm wrong

one small correction, it doesn't have air suspension, they stopped putting air on them during the change over to that body style It's a single mono shock type system with an electric servo to raise and lower the suspension

I bought mine new in 2003 at 37 years old 21 years later and it still a sweet running machine, a beauty to lean, accelerate and cruise quietly and safely Only had to do oil changes, one differential fluid change, one coolant (under warranty) and a starter I wish they made cars this reliable!

I recently bought a 2004 Alpine White Wing with barely 30,000 miles on it in pert near perfect condition, AND the guy threw in a trailer, extra exhaust tips, Kuryakin highway pegs, GPS, phone mount, cup holder, and a large box of all spare hardware (nuts, bolts, washers, filters, snap fittings, etc) all bagged and labeled It also came with brand new Dunlop Elite 4 tires with all but about 100 miles on them I paid $7,000 for it all I rode a 1500 cruiser prior to the Wing What a difference in power and performance going from a two cylinder to a six cylinder engine! WOW!! Smooth as glass!! I love my Wing for all the reasons you mentioned, and more, and living in northeastern Tennessee affords me the opportunity to ride some of the best routes in the entire country!! They are all at my doorstep!! brbrThanks for a great review! Ride safe Ride well Ride often And thanks for that passage from Psalms 121!! I love it!! My help definitely comes from the Lord!!

It looks impossible to work in, there is not a place to get a wrench in edgewise, so I would argue, not the greatestbrThe greatest is one you can fix stranded by the side of the road wit the barest minimum of toolsbrMPG on that is 37mpg Not terrible, but not great The engine is too big and too overkill My 450 gets 50mpg

I put quite a few miles on my 2008 Honda Goldwing Audio Comfort Navi in red metallic Great bikebut, I didn't like the 5 speed The reason why is fuel range My friend had a 2005 BMW R1150RT with a 6 speed and the same size fuel tank When I needed fuel, he still had about half a tank left I realize that his engine is smaller, but he was also at half the rpms as I was on the highway at 70-75 mph The most I could ever comfortably go before refueling was around 170-180 miles On a touring motorcycle with 66 gallons, that's terrible Unfortunately, the new Goldwings have smaller fuel tanks with the added gears, so the problem might be the same At least I'd spend less on fuel

I just inherited my step dad 2009 Goldwing since his passing I've rode it once before I received it and it was one of the most comfortable rides I've had so far on a motorcycle Mind you I'm a new rider I just had my birthday and was just given the bike so gotta clean it up and take her out for a good long ride

Lovely For some reason, it doesn't look like a typical motorcycle, engine showing nicely, that persona, that appeal Might win in every other area tho brbrI have a restored Yanaha Venture Royale 2 tone maroon that looks like a sport, touring, performance bike, goes like one, smooth, comfy i think its under rated few issues, wind buffeting, need a windshield vent, saddlebag covers come off not attached minor detail, smallish range, but other than that a gorgeous looking, perfotming bike

Love your vid Srk but a GL1800 is NOT "neck and neck" with a Harley CVO 110 My stock '05 Wing will absolutely and easily blow the fenders off my V&H piped and dyno tuned '09 Harley Softail Springer CVO 110 Screamin Eagle---I mean, it's not even close Still love my Harley but just for different reasons Thoroughly enjoyed your review!🦾
