I watched the video, but I am still confused about the part B deductible I understand it as it applies to health care providers, but I do not understand it as it applies to DME, specifically diabetic supplies- lancets & test strips I was charged 20 of the cost, but thought I should have paid for it all since this is my first Part B claim I guess I’ll figure it out when I see the EOB!

Why doesn’t the medical offices who knows the patients that have Medicare not ask for the deductible ? Some patients want to be treated or get their exam will be pressured to pay first if you want to see the doctor There should be penalties for doing that to the older generation Your videos are so informative ThanksI entered in October of 2020 and your last part about part D was excellent info

Doctors constantly try to get u to pay deduct I complained to Medicare bc some of their reps are telling docs to do that! Stop scamming seniors!
Comment from : @less9880

@justiner1332
I'm probably gonna sound extremely dumb but do you actually have to pay your "yearly" deductibles even if you don't receive medical services apart from preventative care?
Comment from : @justiner1332

@Dumbluck14
The bottom line is they have added so many deductibles and their intent is to keep you from using it 445 dollar deductible at the pharmacy? Seriously? The cost of pharmaceuticals did not come down They just moved it We are aging and is inevitable we will use and need medical care I just came into the system and besides having filed 3 appeals to correct my Medicare deduction of 14460 This check they took it twice They aren’t supposed to take part D but they do and so I am paying everything twice I can’t get them to fix it and they answer the appeals and don’t fix it I even did the math for them!!!!

@charlesmichael4070
OK I am 64 in December 2019 and eligible for Meidcare in December 2020 Since I have taken early SS benefits at 62, I understand I will be automatically enrolled in Medicare A in the month of my 65th BDIs that correct? I know I am not permitted to deposit into an HSA once enrolled in Medicare However, if I stick with my wife's employer coverage for a while after enrollment in medicare, can I participate in her flex spending account without running afoul of IRS or Medicare rules since I am not actually using medicare in this scenario? Thanks

@tomfromnj1469
November 2019 Thanks for the great suggestion of delaying dr visits to Jan 2020 to avoid paying the deductible twice
