The worst thing about the iPad (I have the iPad Pro latest) is that there is no file access and maintenance as with OS 10 If it did I could use the iPad Pro as a full blown laptop

Thanks for this! Finally someone who has said it as straight-forward as possible I'm a not a pro-level designer, musician or videographer And I suspect that the greater majority of iPad users are like myself: I do draw extensively for business, I am a musician who gigs with the iPad, and I do edit photos for my blog I also take only my iPad when I am on extended business trips - always, and I get everything done which needs to be done Spending 4x the amount I spent just to get an iPad Pro would be impractical in my case, as it would not give me 4x as much utility I think that holds true for almost every iPad user out there

Owned an ipad 2018 but to say that it is a solid tablet like it could play power-demanding games, use the apple pencil, 1080p display (pretty clear for a value tablet) and a decent camerabrOverall, it's a pretty good experience brI did used android tablets before but they are pretty lagging as hell after a year of usage

I got this iPad with the pencil last year when it first came out and I really just used for watching YouTube, but now it’s become more used and valued than my 2015 MacBook Pro PowerPoint notes, scanning documents, taking notes and just it’s portability has made it essential for my classes as chemistry major If you want an iPad but don’t want or have the money on the pros absolutely buy this You don’t know how much you need until you get it lol

My chromebook was almost this price and beyond movie editing (not my field so I can't speak on it) it wrecks the ipad Excellent pen support for art or writing, gaming can be mobile fair or emulated games with a controller or even full steam games through crossover (windows wine) app brbrIpads have wonderful screens and fast processors but they are very limited in what they can actually do and when stacked up against android/windows/linux support from a chromebook they just seem like glorified toys

Indeed, the pricing of the iPads are extremely competitive It's awesome, they have better screens and processors than any tablet at it's price point All the 'good' Android tablets start at about $400, which is just too much for a companion device
