I bought a Mini and traded in my Ipad Pro 2018 I do a lot of drawing and I was tired of lugging around the Pro I like the Mini because I can still Procreate on it Having said that I think you give up a lot that you're used to on the Pro like fascial recognition Honestly I wish I kept my Pro I wish I saw your video before I dumped my Pro Oh well lessoned learned Do more research before making this type of decision ps Good video; size matters; you still have to charge your EarPods with lightning cable They do need to get rid of lightning

The mini replaces my 2018 129 pro for convenience of being super light It doesn't replace the pro for drawing I can take it with me more easily, I can still use the apple pencil Gaming is better on the mini The mini is also slightly thicker which is nice because my pro got bent in my bag and I had to bend it back straight! Mini can be used pretty comfortably without a case because it's generally going to go in a bag, not a pocket and it's obviously a 2 handed device but super easy to hold The pro must have a case for structural integrity (at least this 2018 model)

Your comparison doesn't work, for a couple of reasons First, the iPad Pro 11" has half the memory of the 2021 iPad Mini 6/256 Secondly, the iPad Mini, despite its small size, has a much newer and faster processor brIn the end, these iPad's are similar, but have very different use cases The Pro 11" makes sense if your main use case is as a laptop replacement But it's way to heavy and bulky to use for handheld reading or browsing, IMHO

I personally own the ipad pro 2018 since 2018…BUT always love the size and weight of the ipad mini so I bought the iPad mini and return in a week because I’m too used to 120hz…the ipad mini always seem “slower” for some strange reason lol…

I was looking for the same answer as well I owned a 2018 11in ipad pro cellular with 512gb for about 18 months Unfortunately, after warranty it develops a problem part of the screen is not responsive and using apple pencil is now impossible Replacing a screen is almost like 75 of a new ipad mini or ipad air and I'm not sure which to choose I guess now that I'm going to repair it

Watching this from my iPad Mini 2 I refuse to buy any new iPad for mainly the following reason I mainly play games on my iPad, and for most of it's history, iPad's are 4:3 aspect ratio So the games fit perfectly to the entire screen iPad Mini 6 is a one off with a 3:2 aspect ratio, and most games I play show black borders, and will likely never get updated iPad Pro 11" first hit in 2018 with that 10:7 aspect ratio, again resulting in black bars Unfortunately we will be going on 4 years of this aspect ratio existing, and I cannot get any confirmation unless I buy one to see if the games I enjoy fill the screen or have black borders The new iPad 9th gen is 4:3, but doesn't have a laminated screen, so that's out The iPad Pro 129" is 4:3 but way too big, and expensive, and I don't like the bleeding from the mini LED I can't justify the price of a iPad Mini 5 with 4:3 aspect ratio, because it's more expensive than a 2018 iPad Pro 11" lol

Picked up iPad Pro refurbished 2018 with mil discount for $497 with tax and not only do I feel like I got my money's worth I feel like I got a steal I have an iPad mini 5 and there's no way I'd feel this same way with the iPad mini 6 even with the improvements Great video Common sense isn't common!

I bought that 2018 iPad Pro from Apple for $520 but I’m returning it cause I do have a MacBook Air and iPhone Mini and the iPad Mini is just a better fit for me I also got it for $400 so value wise it was a better deal

I myself want the new iPad mini to use with my DJI Mavic 2 Pro drone as it seems to be the perfect size to fit on my tablet mount for my controller I’m not sure that the 11 inch pro would fit, likely be too big and too heavy for something that is meant to use a small cellphone for the display I have tried with my honking 129” iPad Pro and its a beast to hold LOL granted I can see crazy clear

I found the 2020 refurbished iPad Pro 11" model for about the same price and man, that makes it almost impossible to go towards the new iPad Mini 6 I mean, unless you absolutely need the smallest size for some reason It's crazy how much better it is for the price though (whether 2018 or 2020)

Not gonna lie, I actually traded in my 2018 iPad Pro 11inch for this new iPad mini since apple gave me $450 for it and I also picked up the new iPhone 13pro and my my everyday to day use I absolutely love my iPad mini way more already than my old pro and between the screens between my old iPad Pro and this new mini I can barely notice the 60hrtz on this mini with the normal tasks I’ve been doin like taking it to class,updating dropshipping accounts, YouTube binging it’s been absolutely flawless I must say I also have a new M1 Mac so didn’t really need the iPad Pro as much that’s why I offered it up as a trade and damn am I glad I did brBoth are a great choice nonetheless and can’t go wrong with any of the two it’s really just up to screen size but the portability of the mini is just 1of1 brIf you read this whole thing have a great day

When I was still in college 4 years ago, I had an iPad pro that I tried to use to replace my laptop It was great for taking notes, but it just wasn't enough as a laptop replacement even with the magic keyboard I'm looking to get an iPad just strictly as a tablet, so I have no need for the keyboard It's mostly going to be used as a media consumption, so I'm considering either the Mini or the Air
