I dont think it's the most powerful card in magic In the Top 3 for sure Recall and time walk are just as good if not better At any point in any game ancestral does more And a well used time walk can end a game, and is probably the best tempo swing in magic

I'd argue the reserve list doesn't actually push the price of black lotus up If it was reprinted tomorrow I still feel it retains its value Based on age and scarcity of the alpha and beta printings
