I remember buying prophecy boosters when they came out, people said rhystic study was terrible card, so, like many of my cards, they sat in bulk card boxes for years When I came back to magic to build some edh decks, I had 4 of them just waiting And I had also found 3 mystic remoras that my cousin gave me when I first started playing magic in the late 90s, also sitting in bulk card boxes because the card was 'no good' Lol

Its funny that Lotus Petal is actually common I had one of those when I was younger and I assumed it was a rare and was from an old set before they implemented the color coordination for card rarities on the symbols

So a long while back when I was first getting into Magic back around the first Kamigawa block I went to one of the comic book stores and bought some of the lowest priced packs they had It was from a set that wasn't so popular and people considered it one of the worst set ever: Prophecy I ended up getting about 7 packs and in 5 of them I got Rhystic Study

I think it would be interesting to mention the lowest price of the cards shown if you don't care about the printing This would indicate clearly whether a card is only valuable because of the set it's from (ex : llanowar elves) or because it's powerful

You should do a list ordered by price to points ratio, so a card with 1 point for $20 is ranked higher than a card with 100 points for $1500 Basically, the most over priced cards

Lotus Petal is why Pauper Cycle Storm is one of the most expensive decks in the format, as it runs 4 of them for >$100 Also, Oubliette sees a lot of player in EDH not for efficiency but because it can remove an opponent's commander without allowing them to put it back in their command zone
