My uncle gave me his old collection to look through I used the App but sometimes it spits out no price or scans different versions of the card, like Alpha is 25 Dollars and if I rescan it it says 2 Dollars I am more into Pokemon cards and im dont know anything about MTG Are these cards I found worth anything? I have 100s of magic with gold an m10 , I'm 61 years old, I started buying just to play with my family So ask what your looking for, or your customers, all my stuff is immaculate Condition brTheir own sleeves, an tin containers, an, albums, I can send pics I love this game, but those I played with, have moved so my cards are just sitting there I only played with my family No tournaments I don't like crowds

FYI - This app does check some MTG cards but not all It will just come up "NA" on things that are really rare It did get a price on my unlimited Bayou ($416 which is probably close) That was the only high end card it would price though Including other unlimited Bayou's Not really a very useful app unless most of what you are pricing is under the $100 range

tcg prices are the best you are gonna get for stuff if you are lucky and those vintage cards were mass produced and not in high demand they are not worth 12-15, they are worth under a dollar and nobody will buy it for over 50 cents

Thanks for this! I collected MTG from when it started in 93 until about 2007 A friend of mine sold part of his collection for 5K back in December and I wanted to value mine I used to buy entire collections from other players that were quitting magic back in the early 2000s and I have 10s of thousands of cards in binders and boxes stored away Googling each card didn't seem even remotely feasible, but this app will really help!

With all of the variants that exist, it can be tricky with trading cards I really like how that app can give a quick ballpark figure but I'd definitely do more research That E3 pikachu was a promotional card given out at the E3 convention If that card had the rarer "red cheeks" variant instead of the standard "yellow cheeks", it would be worth hundreds of dollars! Also condition matters a lot in the value Professionally graded cards can command a premium A card with a PSA score of 10 can be worth ten times more than a 9 card etc Of course, grading cards is another incurred expense

Keep in mind for tcgplayer some cards with a white boarder will not scan right on a white background, also the black cards esp the newer ones will scan almost exclusively on a white background any other color will give it issues most magic cards are not worth anything and stores like mine will only buy commons for 2-5$ per 1000 so be careful Magic players are usually far more conscious with what they have in terms of $$ It's also worth mentioning that magic cards are faked by the 1000's and sold under the guise of "proxies"
