my coping mechonism is alcohol I drink a LOT, I thought about it for a while sober and I'd be better off getting a safe or cash box to hide money from myself I'm going to have to force myself not to spend it I've never had life savings or lots of money I've been living in poverty for as long as I can remember I'm in debt, maybe I'd feel some sort of security if I had the funds to fix this stuff It sure as hell would make me less stressed out

I've been working on spending my time differently I go to the gym a lot, and there's a monthly fee, but it's less than any shopping would be I do spend money on books I can't get at the library or want to write in Otherwise I'm still working on breaking bad money habits I try to get everything from the grocery store and limiting buying drinks on the go I always have water with me so that helps brbrI've also decluttered recently and am not looking to accumulate stuff
