The example of buying cash vs debt is mostly true depending on if the rate of debt beats the rate of inflation If it takes me a year to save up for something there's a chance that it will be more expensive at the end of that year Buying things at 0 for example is always a win but that has to be done responsibly as well (need vs want)

I’ve been making overtime for a while and I’m really gonna regret it later on when making reduced hours/pay if I keep spending about $200 or so out of every $500 or so on crap This Thursday is gonna be the highest paycheck I’ve ever made by the week, I need to utilize it 👍🏻

You’re wrong that paying with credit costs more than paying in cash It costs the same as long as you pay your credit card bills on time Paying with credit also has the benefit of getting some percentage of cash back that most credit card issuers offer, and you build your credit score on top of that
