I would like to add one thing to this: make sure to follow as many people as you can on social media who speaks in your target language So when you casually go online, not for learning, but for causal reasons, you'll automatically be reading, hearing, and even have to type in your target language, even if you don't understand, it's still a very important and necessary for learning and you'll slowly not even realize you're not reading your native language You'll naturally understand! Hope that helps :)

My sister and I are going to learn Italian and the "expose yourself to the new language" to learn the sounds they do is interesting cause we're Argentinians, we speak Spanish with a liiiittle of Italian accent (it got a little lost through the years) so we have an advantage on that, also because we use some Italian words I think it's gonna be easier than English tbh, will my third language surpass my second language? I guess we'll find out!!

I'm trying to learn Russian outside of school because, tbh my Russian teacher barely teaches us anything 😭 gonna have to take things into my own hands Also to anyoje doubting the power of watching content in a language to learn it, as you can tell I'm fluent in english and that happened purely because i watched content in English ALL THE TIME as a small child so it stuck with me! (School taught me reading and writing though)
