5"we" are constantly dominated by our left brain (the so-called "master"), including the sense of "self" As shown through several scientific experiments conducted on patients, the left brain can indeed be drastically wrong about various aspects of realitybrone mainstream explanation of dyslexia is that a person with the condition uses less of the left hand side of their brain and more of the right than is 'normal'brindividuals we tend to regard as enlightened – people such as the Buddha and Jesus – didn’t possess brains with some special, enlightenment-prone quality; rather, they simply tapped into the right hemisphere’s natural abilities Drawing on the field of neuroscience, everyone can discipline their brain to follow their lead, thus achieving greater happiness and inner peace🙏 Comment from : @sawdust4dinner322 |

That text to speech is awful br Ok, Um yeah I'm highly friggin dyslexic I know that now and combined with ADD it's absolutely exhausting Strangely I can read very strongly out loud and don't/wouldn't shy away from it at all, I just don't remember literally anything I just read Comment from : @Glitch-nr9ct |

So for those that can relate to me" we were born in 80s, people made fun of us, our parents thought we were lazy or dumb at times - we avoided anything to do with reading and writing and effect us at work - so go on living with this, never been diagnosed and pushes our selfs without the right support- but I still did it regardless - I'm a Sheriff today and still have it, but I've got creative with hiding it or compensating for it by ways of keeping it of the light, so that people dont notice it It's also a Gift!!! gave me highly active in Creativity Comment from : @cyruspeace4497 |

I've found that typing had helped me a lot when it comes to trying to put down what I want to say or convey when writing about something in particular Letters and assignments are much easier when typing them and I find I'm more eloquent and fluent When it comes to hand written things I struggle so much Was always pretty bad when it came to tests in English or languages but excelled in maths, art and physicsbrWhen it comes to reading I haven't been able to overcome that yet still trying to find a way to make this easier brMemory wise I am pretty crap But when it comes to music I can remember things pretty quickly and recall tunes even if I've heard the song once or recently brTelling the time on a clock face and directions when someone tells me to turn left or right I find hard to follow but I can easily find my way around my area and remember routes well So odd how the human brain works!! I only just realised and found out I suffer with dyslexia, and I'm 28yrs old Comment from : @PoojaRai0447 |

Often you finish up working in a job that requires the skills a dyslexic doesn't have Even after years of experience those skills don't really improve, instead you just develop strategies like writing everything down and having check lists in your head and being very methodical or systematic Comment from : @robertbarlow6359 |
|
|
The frustrating thing with me is that one psychologist has concluded via tests that I have strong traits of dyslexia whilst another has said that I haven't, but instead have ADHD I can't remember most of my colleagues names, even after I've systematically memorised them time and time again, can't concentrate with background noise, struggle with certain aspects of technology, have poor auditory and short term memory, yet I'm a great artist and always inventing things It's a frustrating issue because of my limitations within my employment Often the creative lifestyle that dyslexics are suited to is a solitary existence outside of their work, as there is a lot of competition and few opportunities for that type of work You basically have to pursue your talents yourself within your own time Comment from : @robertbarlow6359 |
