I visited a local Coin shop Saturday, and was talking about junk silver He had never heard the story about how, in 1964, a 1964 quarter would buy a gallon of gas, about 20-25 cents at the time If you had a 1964 quarter today, you could sell it at the LCS and take the cash and buy a gallon of gas He got it before I finished the story 'cause he understands the value of real money, and it's value over time

Unfortunately junk silver premiums are so high right now that it makes no sense Finding rounds with better premiums is much easier I would NOT tell a new stacker to stack junk I agree that having a small amount makes sense
