When it comes to profit the compony(s) that produced these films made pretty good money If you put in 10 million dollars and you make 15 million, to a normal person that cant relate to those numbers its like whoa! Thats alot of money! To a company making 5 million more than spent is either disappointing or barely ok

Weird I really enjoyed the prisoner of ascaban movie cause it had a perfect balance between that magical feeling of the first two books and the darker side of the friendchise Wich was introduced Also I really loved the appearance of Lupin and Sirius Although the fourth part wasn't bad I think the third one was just a better adaptation of the book Also I don't get why the Fantastic Beasts movies are so hated I really loved them

My favorite (book and film) was the Philosopher’s Stone because it introduced us to the franchise I think the film was a faithful adaptation of the book To me, Chamber of Secrets (book and film) was just part 2 of the first film … still magical and wonderfulbrbrPrisoner of Azkaban was darker and very clever I enjoyed book and film immenselybrbrGoblet of Fire is my least favorite book and film Too long, and it should have been made into 2 filmsbrbrOrder of the Phoenix: I loved this book and found the film just so-so, but I did like it better than …brbrHalf-Blood Prince, which left me wanting more from both the book and the film I liked both book and film only slightly better than Goblet of FirebrbrDeathly Hallows was a great end to the book series Unfortunately, the 2nd film made me very angry, both in how Voldemort met his demise and the lack of showing Harry using the Elder wand to repair his wand I know David Yates explained his reasoning for the final death scene of Voldemort recently in the 20th anniversary retrospective, but it didn’t satisfy me And I really believe they could’ve done a two minute scene to show Harry repairing his own wand with the Elder wand The final film left me thinking, “Well, that was … interesting” A flat end to a pretty good film series

Despite having amazing funding, an amazing cast, and an amazing story to base their movies on, the films were still pure trash (bar the first two IMO) in particular the 4th movie, butchered the vibe and story of the book

I find it oddly satisfying that the film based off the 1st book based & the films based off of the final book are all in the top 3brbrMore book fans dishing out money to see the introduction and the conclusion in theaters just makes sense to me It’s the beginning and the end of the original HP film era; most fans are gonna want the experience of going to see those in theaters even if they aren’t based on their favorite installments in the series
