it's a whole different way than the way I learned bc i am self taught, but this feels a bit more slow but it's more direct and feels like its slowly perfecting things, idk how to describe it fully but good work

Let me share my journey with you guys too!!! Its been 1 month and a half since i played guitar and i think im doin good cause i can play a bar chords now learned a 2 fingerstyle too The first thing i did is to learn a chord from a song that song has a 5 basic chords G,A7,C,Em,D after i master that song i realized that it wasnt that hard at all ngl i practiced every day like 7am to 3pm but not on first 1or2 weeks i guess cause my finger is dying lol, this is for the all beginners out there if you really want to learn, patience is the key and consistent just enjoy the music and you'll never gonna be tired of it❤❤❤

I started learning 65 months ago I can see my journey here First 1 month was so frustrating because I couldn't play anything, just learned the basics Now I mastered all open and almost all bar chords Mastered strumming(basically rhythm) Can play any song by knowing the chords I started learning fingerstyle When I look back, I remember that I can't even hold the C major chord with three fingers and now it seems too easy for me to hold almost every chord One thing I realized is - "Never quit, be patient and keep learning" Looking forward to learn more in this journey

My day 11 I have learnt all the chords of open guitar and have also done the shiftting, I can also put in some barr chords, I have also done strumming by looking at the pdf and yesterday I learnt C scale, today I learnt A scalebrbrLast brI have also learned the basics of music theory in these 11 days But now it's starting to get boring 😢

6 months in and I can somewhat play a simple solobrI think it's cause of my 4 years spent playing video games and also the fact that I'm left handed so fretting is easier for me than strumming, but time spent aim training was well worth it!brgg on that 1 year progress btw

Made great pogress with your comfortability with the instrumer, i would start focusing on your time 6ou seem real comfortable with rhe instrument and the hand finger movements, so id say focus in on your timing and youll jump to s whole new level I noiced its mostly whe the songs BPM changes, usualy when you transition from the intro to first chorus/chorus or from picking to strumming you take a minute to get your timing back and eithernplay too slow or too fast But your hitting all the notes dead kn

The key to learning guitar is to practice everyday Even if you only have 10min Those 10min sessions add up When you get frustrated walk away and come back later😊 I’m almost 10 months in and doing great Taking it slow practicing 10-20min a day, sometimes longer I’ve seen tremendous progress Don’t be afraid to practice hard chords, scales, strumming patterns etci promise if you tackle hard stuff it’s a boost of confidence when you finally nail it Hope this helps someone Keep going you got it ❤❤

I’ve never thought to deeply about it but I think all my life I’ve wanted to play the drums, guitar, violin, etc Just any instrument really But, due to certain complications with my mother thinking I wouldn’t dedicate myself to it and it would be “a worthless investment” just because they had previously experienced buying my brother (who is five years older than me and in college now) an instrument and he quit within a year I was also struggling with mental health issues but they weren’t affecting my wanting to play an instrument if anything they would have helped
