Simply brilliant, I have just started trying to learn at 34 and currently on day 5, my hands hurt, and there are many many mistakes, but I simply love when a few notes come together I hope to continue my journey and be as good as you after one year

Wow, around day 300 it sounds like something "clicked" in you ;) I admire your patience I (47) just yesterday played full "No surprises" on guitar and it was the first time I played chords plus vocals at the same time in one take no effects used I started to learn guitar when I was like 20, but I never really learned to play I have not enough patience to the point of slight ADHD ;) Just recently I dusted of my old acoustic guitar just to learn playing some C64 chip tunes on it And maybe some Yann Tiersen in the future ;) I figured out the beginning of "Le Matin"

As a younger pianist I have always struggled with tiny hands so it is harder to get to a higher skill level for me Still hoping that someday I will be able to play the pieces that I want to right now but cant because my fingers are too small Dont give up guys❤

The piano upgrade was definitely warranted, I was very happy to see it The hammer action keys and better simulation makes a big difference and can affect the transition to a real piano Good to see that it wasn't stopping your practice though

You brought a song back into my memory from when I was learning piano 🎹 in high school, aka The Entertainer After high school, I had a VERY Long break from piano 🎹 until about 2021 when I got an 88 key keyboard, just a few months after I started learning guitar 🎸 To this day, I've devoted more time to learning my guitar and haven't practiced piano all that much But things are going to change and I'm going to make it a priority to practice piano everyday like I do with guitar In high school, I got up to Grade 3 piano and since December 25th, 2022, I've been working alone on my Grade 4 level theory Going to do some more work in my theory book today Hopefully will get through Grade 4 and move on to Grade 5 in not too much longer along with my practice on piano

One thing I noticed, that surprised me, was that your meter is very consistent, one thing I see a lot of beginners having great problems with I also see that you started learning to read music from the get go, which slows you down initially, but at some point, puts you far ahead of the curve of those who do not
