My wife and I bought our dream home using the VA loan We currently have about 200k in equity in the home We want an investment property but nothing nearly as big as our current home We have a 5bed 4bath in TX If we used the VA loan to buy a second smaller property, we would have to leave our current home to live in the new one for 12 months We don’t want to leave our current home Besides the VA loan, is there any other options that would allow a smaller down payment and waiver of PMI?
