Here in Adelaide South Australia,we get 10 cent refund on aluminium cans,glass bottles,plastic bottles and drink containers,certain milk cartons so you stack them away and it all adds up and every recycle yard takes them👍

Hello IanbrMy yard pays flat rate for aluminium, cast, sheet or extruded it's all the same, cans as wellbrLast time I took in aluminium and todays currancy it comes to about 80p for the kg

Save them till they get so much and weigh them in or buy a furnace and sell them as ingots on ebay £25 each

My Old friend , his wife collects cans , and with it she manages to make payments on a new pickup truck 4x4 , not cheap They pay deposit pop and beer cans / bottles on hard licour bottles, juice containers , and recently they’ve added milk containers 👍🇨🇦

Gf keeps saying I should do my own channel Not sure that's a good idea with my turettes brAnyway, this week has been mostly ally but the scrap gods provided me with an air con unit on Friday And for some reason, about 20 lighting ballasts which I'm getting through in between cleaning brass Odd how we get a run on certain things brGot exactly 13months to retirement now, going to get meself a van and knuckle down to doing what makes me happy for a change I'll never be a rich man but hopefully a happy one

In my area we have a deposit return scheme so most scrappers don't turn their cans into the yard, you get more for depositing them, assuming you have the patience to deal with the automated systems I save all my non-deposit cans and put them in the alum scrap, my yard takes them as sheet
