Very nice tent I think the mystery may be why any sane backpacker would want to hump a 10 lbs set-up for any appreciable distance (counting the trekking poles used for the awning) Hiking in the winter can be challenging enough (snow, ice, wind, etc) without carrying that much weight Just because it is a 4 season tent doesn't mean it has to weigh that much Usually the hard core mountaineering tents approach that weight The company warning against using in bad weather is a caution (lawyers at work?) It looks like a practical and comfortable tent, as long as you can toss it out of your truck and set it up nearby

I bought this tent off your review! I'm over in the uk and bought it for my North Wales motocamping trip ! I must admit, out off all the tent I've purchased, I must say this was the lightest and easier tent to put up, I mostly used the side entrance, loads of room, bought the optional poles for the canopy, I kept the guidelines taught throughout my trip and didn't see any sagging, very good buy and looking forward to using again ! It did rain through my trip, obviously because it was Wales ! Kept me dry, no leaks !!!!!

I'm not really sure this is a 4 season tent as he keeps reiterating All around the bottom there's a few inches gap, this allows warm air to come through but also the cold blistering air during winter brNot what you'd want, especially in winter storms too you will crumble without decent warm gear

Struggling to see when you’d use this, clearly too heavy for hiking, so therefore you’d be vehicle born But at that weight I’d sooner have my Vango Galaxy 300 when out on bike adventures and need a base tent Might as well enjoy the trip and be able to stand up, and being able to stand up is worth the extra kilo in weight Sure it’s a great design, but at that weight can’t see why you’d pick that over something bigger and better

A tent that comes in a berito wrap called comeda which means food in Spanish I think I'll stick with my OEX jackel 2 that has a hydrostatic of 5000 as it can be used in 3different ways not for me looks like a cheep tent that you can buy in this country for around £40 dollars cheep guidelines and pegs have fun but try something that will be of use in severe weather 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 your pissing me it's junk for that price gtfvout of here
