My personal Beatles collection contains mostly german first pressings, mono and stereo Two or three in low quality of good All others in near mint Maybe my most valuable record is a perfect mint copy of SgtPepper, first UK stereo with the wide spine cover But how much is it worth? Maybe 300 Euro???brBut i am happy with all my records in my huge collection of roundabout 14000 longplayers Comment from : @fannydad6123 |
|
Cool video I have heard of the Beatles on 78's that and a Premo mint Butcher are the best But I might have something a bit more rare and love it dearly A Butcher signed by John Lennon I never had a serious offer for it as its part of the other Beatle autographs I have in my collection and tell people if you want Lennon you have to take the others too😁😁😁😁 Comment from : @TimRobinson-hc7mt |

Late to comment, but the reason Yellow Sub was on the Odeon label is because it was EMI's universal export label This is the same for the Pink Floyd lps, Yardbirds lps, Noel Coward lps etc that were exported UK Columbia lps were shipped initially with the Odeon label, but later with the gold Odeon foil labels pasted over the Columbia logo on the lp, and front and back of the jackets But they used Odeon even when they had the copyright - like Capitol UK - but when they did not, like Columbia and HMV, they used Odeon I suspect they had an international control over that, and maybe not for Parlophone Even if they did, they used Odeon for everything Comment from : @jimeb2jim256 |

While I was watching this, I won an eBay listing of the nicest white album I’ve ever seen, no EMI with three zeros (10,000s literally ten thousand and something) It’s no number 1 but when it’s within a full collection of UK 1st pressings in near mint it will be worth more than it is by itself And of course like every other great record I’ve bought, it was in pounds not dollars!!! Comment from : @arzabael |
|

I bought a please please please me uk parlophone demo from Sweden This was years ago on ebay, I paid a stupidly low amount for it which made me extremely suspicious that it may have been a con but the record actually arrived & although it was in beautiful condition I couldn't accept that it was genuine &, no matter how much I wanted it to be real, decided that I was going to send it back Even now, 20 years on, I wonder if I'd fucked up big time or that it was an extremely good replica? Comment from : @proud_to_be_a_ted |

I stood in the long lines of pre-teens at the dime store waiting to open at 9am in October1963 to just get a 45 import from London of these squirrely guys called the Beatles that combed their hair down instead of up How weird! |
I don't have any discs of particular value; the singles are worn and even though prcieless to me, I'm sure that's only to me The exception is a boxed set of all the main albums, pressed in Australia I've never had it valued, but I'm interested if anyone knows what it could be worth The box is well worn, as it's been through several moves, but I can count on one hand how many tmes they've been played The "Rarities" album is a different combination of songs than the US version Thanks in advance Comment from : @timneff6094 |
|
Hi,I have read that EMI in Australia made 497 copies of SGT Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band in 1983,the story sounds to me that this record would have to be one of those rare and sought after Beatles albums, have any of you out there know about it? Comment from : @andrevigours5548 |
