we bought a 2021 sienna awd in 2023 not a problem with it at 88k and averaging 37mpg hard to do better for a family vehicle that can haul a ton of stuff around, as you said!

Only watching this video because my mom and pop landscaping company used to haul plants in a Honda minivan Thing went 300k before any major issues, hauling bags of mulch, potting soil, and whole plants Yes we had trucks, but if you wanted room for the plants to stand up and not get beaten by the wind, the van was the way to go

Personally I would still get the carnival I like the styling and it’s naturally aspirated engine should makes thing easier, dodge grand caravan definitely yes, compared to the odyssey and sienna there both good valued minivans but are more expensive and not as practical as the other two an one is harder to get

The USA predecessor to the Toyota Sienna was the Previa, 1991-1997 We had a '91 base model, rear wheel drive, no ABS, no airbags, no remote keyless entry Yes their front end crash test rating is very poor but good thing we never wrecked it! It was otherwise unfailingly dependable and was my car my last 2 years of college, it had the same 24L I4 the small toyota pickups did, as well as the same live rear axle as it too I sold it to a young mom with just 125K so I wouldn't be surprised if it was still running Every other 2WD minivan is front wheel drive, which means a LOT of weight for those two little CV axles to handle

I have a 2005 Nissan Quest that I bought off my buddy for $500 Besides a small coolant hose leaking, the van is solid! I also have a 2005 Nissan Titan that runs like a champ, a 2011 Infiniti FX50-S, that is insanely reliable and can out perform most sports carsbrbrBut my 2024 Lexus RX350h is a lemon! with all sorts of issues🤣

Hello! in my price range (10k and under) I find some siennas from 2014 and under with 150k and under though most are 2-250k in the close to 2014 years but I find a lot of odysseys from 2014-16 with 150k and less at least in my areabrbrShould I still consider the Sienna despite this? I know its super reliable I also hear the odyssey is but its so hard to know who knows what especially when a lot of the mechanics I speak to disagree with eachother (ABOUT THOSE 2!!! not the others on the list they all agree there lol) I love how both look and the features for both so I have no preferance in this race just want the most reliable possible I live paycheck to paycheck because my wife cant work anymore she has to stay home with our children one of who is moderate to severe autistic If the insurance doesn't give much I probably cant get anything over 3k and at that point I'm in ancient 2001 territory and I'm screwed anyway lol All because some lady turned into our 2015 dodge journey with 130k miles (somehow still running strong i hear horror stories about the journey now)

I'd tow with a minivan Just take it slow, and steady, and monitor temperatures Maybe top out at 50 or 53 MPH, up hills let it slow down if it wants to, maybe try to keep it under 3,000 RPM It should be fine
