Heres a tip for cars salesmen from a woman who works in sales and loves to fuck with and waste the time of car salesmens for fun; be genuine, have casual and approachable energy and stop using scripted talking points Your interactions should be as organic as possible People can tell if you're being genuine with them in the way you are speaking It is very easy to tell a beginner or shitty salesman by the shit-eating grin and disingenuous energy/conversation Just be casual, respectful, and helpful to your customers, and they will not only enjoy their time with you but give their future business to you as well as they will feel comfortable dealing with you Knock yourself down a notch No one likes an overly confident, ultra dominating, cocky or intimidating salesman (especially with cars); the customer already sees you as a threat Be honest with them, get them into a car that will work best for them, and be sympathetic about price with them They need to believe that your manager is the guy that completely controls the price and is being an asshole, NOT YOU Make the customer believe that you want to pull some strings for them, and that you're advocating for them When the price can be lowered, make sure the customer thinks you want them to get a good deal and that you are sticking your neck out for them by hassling the manager Make any price decreases at all look like you really worked hard to get it for them When they trust you and are comfortable with you, you can fuck them over good and they will happily let you fuck them over again I've messed with hundreds of car salesmen over a few years The TWO that are the way I just described still stand out as great among countless shitty salesmen Call your customers a week or two after they buy the car to ask how they are enjoying their car, if they are having a problem (most will) help them to resolve it No one does follow-ups like this with their customers and it will set you apart and get you repeated business Comment from : @contentconsoomer6591 |

I have a vehicle I’m interested in going a hour and a half to look at this weekend I’ve been talking to their internet lead and told them I would b work willing to come check it out It’s a 2022 Nissan frontier SV 4x4 They are asking 31, 280 which is a pretty good deal compared to many others the same year and one owner (certified) The truck only has 13,000 miles on it I have good credit and just curious if I could ask less for it even though it’s a bargain compared to others online It’s been sitting there on the lot since September I don’t want to deal with all the bull crap fees that come along with it and letting them pull my credit before hand to try to qualify me with 100 other banks which could prob drop my credit a lot I have a 750 credit right now and trying to get it higher Any pointers?
