You never factored in the hybrid battery replacement cost Hybrid batteries decreases in capacity overtime, hence, you have to replace it approx $7k and up unless you do a DIY (approx $3-4K You are paying upfront for a hybrid cost with less powertrain Your return of investment on fuel savings will take years to get (maybe 15-20 years) It just feels good at the beginning that you are refueling less When you add the cost of hybrid over conventional engine plus battery replacement (your battery warranty is usually five years) versus the fuel savings overtime may not make sense as far as dollar savings You can feel good about hybrid saving the environment but your pocket will do the loudest talking if you do the math You can fact check this as much as you want Not a whole lot of upside when it comes to money savings on hybrid vehicles Nothing beats the fun driving and power of V6 power in a minivan

Just test drive over the weekend I was very excited about Kia, but it shows the low frequency shaking as long as the engine is on, probably b/c of their chassis tuning capability It is not something I can ignore easily so it is out Toyota didn’t even have a car for test driving How popular the car is?! Honda drives fine although the tech is very old, no big noticeable issues Also tried VW ID Buzz The car driving position is so different from everyday cars, more like a delivery van/truck The car drives pretty good and the price comes down to $55k for 1st edition with panoramic roof I struggled a little on the VW due to the price, but chose Honda by the end

After the Town & Country debacle we had, nobody is going sell me on another Chrysler for as long as I live I drove an 07’ Hyundai Entourage for the last 10 1/2 years and it got 319,000 miles on before we started having issues over the last month Replaced it with a Kia Carnival earlier this week, and I absolutely love it! I have a '23 Odyssey and it's fantastic The quality of materials far exceeds Chrysler, Kia, and even Toyota I don't want a ton of nonessential tech, which eventually just breaks down over time I'm in the car to drive it; I don't want to be distracted by screens, etc The power and handling is also the best Reliability is solid as well

The Sienna XSE has stiff and hash suspension, even the smallest road imperfections will cause it to shake all over, with various interior components making all kinds of squeaks and rattles, like a symphony orchestra It was my first minivan and it looked good: lowed body, big wheels low profile tire, sport body kit Aside from the vibration and noise, it didn't give me any sense of a sports car I sold this POS within a year

We ❤ our 2026 Carnival hybrid We have had it 6 months now FYI it does tell you to check the seats for a child if it senses movement in the back when you turn the vehicle off Additionally, If the doors are locked and you leave the vehicle with the key and there is someone still inside the vehicle, the alarm will go off It also tells you if you left your cell phone in the wireless charger when you shut the engine off and its still there So know that the Kia has that feature as well!

I drove the Kia, Toyota and Honda Honda has the best handling, Toyota has the best mpg while Kia has best overall if considering all handling mpg tech safety features for a better practical price One more thing, the Kia and Honda tire choice is much better or much compatible than a Toyota which sometime overshoots on the curve when you drive at a certain speed and angle

The Pacifica used to be our favorite rental until those safety crash traditions continue to get worse Now we go with a premium crossover with good room and better safety ratings If you must buy a Pacifica, the hybrid 2nd row seats are bigger and more comfortable because they don't stow due to hybrid battery

How can anyone take this review serious ? You put the Honda odyssey on the bottom below Chrysler? The actualbrRanking on this list is as follows… Toyota sienna, Honda odyssey, Kia carnival, Chrysler Pacifica The only thing good about the Pacifica is the stow and go seats… but guess what… the back seats are incredibly uncomfortable for long trips and Chryslers reliability is awful… I’ve driven all these on road trips and we ended buying the odyssey for the v6 engine and amazing magic seats The sienna is amazing with its hybrid engine and fantastic gas mileage but you cannot remove the second row seats, like you can with the odyssey which is something that shouldn’t be over looked

Sure, the Odyssey seats aren’t light, but they’re 70lbs each, not 200lbs The fact that they are removable and slide side to side and forward and backward is a huge plus The second row seats are also more comfortable than the Stow N Go seats in the Pacifica Sometimes being “old” isn’t a bad thing Sure, you could say it’s dated But all the most used functions have physical switches and buttons Yes, mileage isn’t great But it’s not great on the other V6 competitors And personally between losing the Stow N Go plus questionable Stellantis long term reliability, I would never go for the hybrid Pacifica

I’ve driven the Honda, Toyota, Chrysler and if it wasn’t for the well-known disastrous reliability issues, I would actually pick the Chrysler Granted I only had the rental fleet version for about a week, it was a pleasure to drive and had all the features I needed for a mid-grade version It was very comfortable, smooth, quiet, and just as roomy as the other minivans
