In the example about anticipating your boss being rude, (11:26) How is identifying your triggers different from future predicting? Aren’t you predicting that your boss is going to be rude (which is engaging in the future telling cognitive distortion) by identifying it as a trigger?

miss emma, your videos are very lovely and just by the time I reached the 4th minute , I realized that I have been catrasthophizing for so many years and I got such a precious information and lesson just by watching for four minutes I have been quite suicidal for 5 years as I have borderline disorder and I hope when I have income ( I am not working yet ) I can send you a gift whether it is a cloth from my country or just some money Thank you so much , miss emma and mr nick I also wish I can fund a counselling center if it is possible to do so

What if a part of it is actually not a distortion, but the way things are like not enough jobs, not enough housing that people can afford It's true statistically So maybe we are thinking negatively Maybe there is a better way to think, but if we don't acknowledge reality something doesn't quite feel right to the client Thanks for your presentation> Life is not always br'by the book'
