As someone who plays electric guitar never turn the master volume all the way up to max!! Also you may notice that the guitar strings feel much harder and more painful the reason for this is not because wig the thickness or the thinness it’s because electric guitar strings are usually made of nickel so they are much harder and sturdy don’t worry you eventually get used to it
