I choose copper for most barters and I'll be able to turn it into wire and a generator for SHTF Comment from : @yangr5481 |
I NEVER use the term "Junk Silver"! Our 90 pure Silver CONSTITUTIONAL COINS are/were never "junk"!brThe term began to be used by certain unscrupulous "dealers"! Who's soul aim was to disparage these coins and make potential Sellers think they were worthless A nasty, crooked tactic! Thus dishonest from the get-go ! Comment from : @Robb-jf7vg |
I’ve been finding great deals on ebay below spot, even with silver hovering around $34, just have to watch auctions and be patient, as most do sell above spot price Comment from : @ManDad_1964 |
I am complete noob to coin collecting and am wondering if those new Nickels with the different face on the back are worth anythingbrbrEdit: if some says five cents I swear to god Comment from : @thereeA-k4c |

Junk should be no brainer, especially in 2024 Seems mercery dimes are in highest demand btw Comment from : @AnthonyAlba-to2gh |
Love junk silver because of the history mostly! Watch some of the old TV shows like Leave it to Beaver when he's "jingling" around coins in his pocket in 1962! Wonder how many of my junk silver coins he spent! Anyhow, I CRH $6700 a week in halves, quarters and dimes and continue to find silver coins every week This week I found a 1941 Walker, a 1942 and 1964 quarter as well as 7 silver Roosevelt dimes Love my junk silver! Saving it all to take with me when I expire to the heavens! Comment from : @TimothyMeyer58 |
i am getting 1964-D Washington Quarter Dollar Comment from : @WarbirdFalcon |
Not only is it worth buying junk silver but its the ONLY silver i buy now I like how not onlybrIs it 90 silver but they also have some collectible value along with it being legal tender and they dont make them anymore and they will still hold their value for small barter if the dollar collapses and we go into a crisis Theres literally absolutely no reason to NOT own junk silver Comment from : @Gold_Silver |
👍🏻👍🏻🙏 Comment from : @James-n3u1o |
I got extremely lucky yesterday and got 80 Washington quarters for mere pennies per quarter above spot Definitely a good thing to jump on if the price is right and you have the storage space Comment from : @JABoyle3875 |

I paid A nickel for a Rockefeller hamburger and they were still 20c when I was a teenager Comment from : @docalexander2853 |
Premium yes but when mielda hits the spinning wheel, fraud will be rampant and recognizable pre-65 US silver coinage will be quickly accepted Daily we carried it as kids until the democrats stole the silver from our coinage as they did in 1933 the goldbr In the south Bronx of the first gas "crisis" in 1973, a gas station in the neighborhood had a wise owner The lines were dreadful as none were exposed to this before The owner dedicated one row of pumps with a sign reading, "silver coins only" but I wasn't about to give up any silver I was wise enough to keep from my preteen years in the 50s be wise, be informed and be Blessed Comment from : @Saviour3 |

I decided recently, partially from comments at my preferred local dealer, to weight my purchases for some time toward "junk" silver Things will, sooner or later, fall apart I do NOT want to be bartering for eggs or other foods with an ounce round of 999 silver Comment from : @davidenge3746 |

I love junk silver I was thinking of stacking the standing liberty quarters Because in an SHTF a standing liberty quarter would be safer because it’s 90 silver and there’s no doubt that it’s clad Comment from : @jeremiahflores2444 |
I'm new to your channel but I haven't really seen you talking about Morgan and Peace Dollars Just wondering why Comment from : @brandonkirsch1745 |

I just tried to sail some constitutional silver April the fifth and the Best offer I had was $15 on the dollar They expect me to leave $5 on The table On a $180 worth of constitutional silver it aint gonna happen all they want to do is rob us No one is going to pay us a fair price for our silver the dealer's jack us on the premiums when you buy it and they jack us when you sell it Comment from : @rickycollard9715 |
Hey on the topic of tubes do you have any recommendations for tubes that would fit capsuled 1oz coins? Comment from : @Rygoat |

I don't buy it because it's usually overpriced unless it's in a shop, but I don't have any shops that are close by, so I only get to go to them on rare occasions Comment from : @kingjoe3rd |

When I was a kid while camping on an island on the St Croix river I was digging for "treasure" with a stick in the mud and I found a 1943 D mercury dime That is probably one reason mercury dimes are my favorite junk silver Comment from : @EricTheCat |
"Junk silver just means that they're not 'pure' silver"? I always thought that "junk silver" meant that they were 90 percent silver US coinage, worth their intrinsic silver value, with no additional numismatic value from having key dates or being proofs Regarding Mercury dimes being more desirable than Roosies, I think in the barter scenario, nearly everyone would understand what "1964" means Comment from : @strat959 |
Yea Mr Harry Comment from : @georgeboutwell6069 |
This is the bottom Comment from : @xDooksx |

I always find the term ''Junk silver'' a sad one given many are such beautiful (if generally common and circulated) coins I like to imagine their story and the hands they must have passed through over time Comment from : @philcollinson328 |
Constitutional is always worth it Been stacking it for years and continue to do so Comment from : @rd9102 |
in a real life terrible SHTF situation i feel like nobody would want this stuff Land, food, guns, medical supplies, bullets, fuel, transportation, and tools … a few others but i could go on Not silver coins, as much as this is a selling point for stackers in reality its just a hobby in our nice and safe society (AT THE MOMENT) Comment from : @skeewer8104 |
This is a wonderful video about the merits and details of Constitutional Silver!brbrI have one gripe, though:brHow on Earth can you call anything Constitutional 'junk'??brbrAnd I don't care what some supposed 'majority' might think or talk Pre-1965 silver coins are money, what follows 1964 isn't That's a Constitutional Fact: No state [] shall make any Thing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of Debts (Article 1, Section 10)brbrConstitutional isn't 'junk', and can't be :) Comment from : @HenrikRClausen |
