Don't be naive they are not just taking your money but your time sacrifices you made to earn that money If they need a loan they can go to a bank or their parents can help them, there is no room to ask friends You are enabling them, I will guarentee if they ask you once they will ask you again

Its okay to lend money to a friend who is close 2 u with small amount But if that person doesn't return it back within the said time Don't lend them anymore and stop the relationship brSee I have a friend to who I have lent money and within a month he returned it every time he borrows it He had never broken my respect for himbrI will give you a practical past example -brSo I have a friend with whom I went to a restaurant and later he asked me for Rs100 to pay his part of the bill After 2 months we went for hanging out and after moving here and there I spend my money and literally I don't have enough money even to pay for lunch at a restaurant Luckily he was with me and pay the bill for me brSo, I will say lend the amount which if you lose will not affect your finance and just test their promise If they failed cut off all the relationship

Just yesterday, a friend asked me for $1000, after already giving him $8000 in the last two years(2019-2021) And even that $8000 he didn't pay me in full I finnaly had the courage to say no I don't think he is a real friend He is healthy, married with kids and i am alone, no kids and i have i disability He lives in another country, and i live in a poorer country It's not fair if i am more poor than him to give him money It's not my fault i can save money and he spends everything he makes And i hate him for asking me money I feel used and very annoyed I told him to never ask me money again If he does, i am ending the 21 years friendship with him I don't ask my friends for money, and i want the same treatment in return I hope he respects me enough to never ask again

Trust me I have an expert degree in lending money to people & never get it back! Even my best ever friend did it to me But now everytime anyone ask me to borrow them money, I told them I have the money but I just can't lend it to them because I've made a promise to myself not to lend money to anyone, it felt good that I don't have to lie & feel bad to anyone anymore!

simple do you need that money for later , do not let them barrow (people dont pay back specially if they have the perception that you are banking) do you feel generous and dont mind to give away that money to that person that is asking for it, do it and think of that money as gone Just whatever you decide on doing keep one rule, if a person didnt pay you back do not let them barrow more money most of my friends one by one had ask me for money and none have ever pay me back

No sure what to do I don't like to loan money unless I know I'll get it back But this is alot of money for them to pay us back in a timely fashion In my mind I would charge interest but I know they can't afford it and I will be putting them in a situation that will financially hurt them

My mom always tells me that if someone needs money for something like groceries, or food, or money for gas, etc, you should take them to eat or take them shopping, or take them to fill up their tank so that you know your money is getting spent for what it was needed for That way you know you were helping them and your money went for a good purposebr PS: I'm taking Personal Finance for 9th Grade

These are good tips I recently came into a blessing and my family will call and ask me things like: "Can I borrow $500? I need it tomorrow I need it for my light bill and right" That frustrates me I took my money because I am struggling and started a business I fixed my credit because it was horrible I took public transportation because I know having a car is expensive They just don't get it From my adult children to my Mother I have just decided to stay focused on keeping my life in tact 😏
