heres a tip don't bring a suitcase as a carry on when it's over packed check it it's not going to pass bri live in Australia and one missed flight could ruin your entire trip arrive 3 to 4 hours before an international flight and DO NOT try to BS the airline when flying to Australia this is a long-haul flight with strict weight limits and strict food and flora laws to protect our unique environment

I am a gate agent and I had to deplane everyone just last week because an overhead bin popped off because someone tried to force it closed and broke it making the plane inoperable for something so small people missed weddings, births, funerals all because people insist on taking oversized bags ! So unless you wanna risk a delay please don’t try and sneak your oversized bags past me
