I live on my own although not totally alone as son lives in his own house with wife, she is poorly so mum's needs are well down on his list so I do what I can to help him and her to make life easier as he still works all of the time, so have my own company much of the time, but I do totally agree about how messages can sometimes make you feel, but as I live in France and the rest of my family live in England it's a great way to stay in touch

I'm 60 extrovert and 40 introvert Being alone at the begining (few friends with whom I hung out ONE ON ONE) made me feel lonely, empty, battery went to almost zero , because I really craved hanging out with a GROUP of friends(was 80 extrovert ) After a decade of craving this wider social circle I came to terms with it Now, I don't even need one on one any more I can say I' ve learned to be more introverted I like it Less people, less drama /annoyances If I'm alone more than 3 days, I don't feel socializing at all But when I do socialize, I want socialization to continue Sometimes I'm wishing to just be alone for longer perod of time, just to get used to it and see what happens in that state
