Consumer Cellular rather than Verizon - they use the same towers as Verizon so never a dropped call If you're an AARP member get even more of a discount too Think it's like 2 phones for 55/month rather than over 100 for Verizon Hope that helps

When I was in grad school and on a set budget (I’d get money from my student loan at the beginning of the semester for living expenses) I’d go to the grocery store and get a gift card for each month of the semester so I’d have my grocery money set aside first It made life so much easier and helped me budget Kinda thinking of bringing it back honestly!

We have a credit card but everything we spend every month gets paid back We only spend what we know we will be able to pay Only doing this to build credit for a mortgage We want to get out of renting so this is something we do for our future If done right credit cards can be a tool With the rewards we can actually get more back But it’s easy to just spend it because it’s there and not pay it back But when we have a goal it helps keep us from falling into the trap of over spending on it I budget every month and re check it weekly to stay on track

That's good, but 5 percent isn't even keeping up with inflation Cash is a melting ice cube Even after 5 percent interest You need to put your extra cash into a little riskier assets to just keep up with and hopefully surpass inflation

I was my clothes on cold, buy all my clothes at thrift stores, do my own yard work when possible, I wear my clothes several days, waitvtil the sink is full of dishes before washing dishes and many other money saving and work saving!!! I also save part of my incoming money

When I was a kid my mom would sweep, mop, wipe down walls every single day She would have us take every clean dish out of the cabinets and wash them again almost weekly We washed towels after only one use Clothes after every use Thankfully through the years she realized how crazy that was I think it went back to her childhood and her dad would make them do that and even iron his work overalls and his sheets too
