I've been wondering how Ramsey could end up with that much real estate when paying cash and this explains it He bought it when it was selling at a lower price than usual

I have found that there is intrinsic value to having a great tenant who pays rent on time, takes care of his home and values the property being rented I personally would rather have a wonderful tenant who dose not cause me headaches than turn and burn tenants just so I can get top market value rent That's not to say a rent increase is not warranted once in awhile but I always want to keep it fair and reasonable Dave Ramsey used an example of commercial property for his business that is not an apple to apple answer to the question

It is funny to see Graham and Dave together considering they have such completely different philosophies when it comes to money Ramsey is building his wealth on selling his philosophy to people with no self control when it comes to money, but it certainly is not the right approach to building wealth, just a method for them to "stay out of trouble" Graham's money philosophy is for those with self control when it comes to money and is the best approach to building wealth

Ramsey's only error is his desire to never have debt I mean; its good wisdom in some way the problem is that leverage is a secret to success when used correctly A small amount of debt is actually a very healthy thing HIs restraint on debt is a good thing to know and learn and apply to a small debt situation
