The real estate industry is a scam A) As the seller, why should I pay the buyer’s agent?? I’ll pay MY agent I am not paying YOUR agent How about YOU pay your agent for their services? There’s a concept But guess what? If you DON’T agree to pay the buyer’s agent, you will get silently black-balled and agents won’t show their clients your home It’s BS!!! B) “Comps” are a joke We own a six bedroom home on quiet circle with an elementary school right at the opening of the circle in an HOA with a pool a block away It has incredible updates and features very few around here have It’s sitting on a huge lot with a beautiful, manicured yard It has WAY more than other 6 bedroom homes But because of “comps” which compares other 6 bedroom homes with not even a third of the lot size, upgrades or prime locations, those lesser homes pull down the value of our home- just because they also have six bedrooms It’s a joke I’m supposed to sell my awesome home for $90,000 less because other houses are crap? C) Realtors take SIX percent of my hard earned equity On a $660,000 home that’s $39,600!! Closing costs are- if you’re lucky- 18 which is another $11,880- just to do some ‘f’ing paperwork!!! These people are taking $51,480 of my hard-earned equity like vampires For what?? It’s a SCAM!! My home was appraised at $750,000 but our real estate agent said that comps in the neighborhood would not support that Because of comps ripping us off, obscene realtor fees and outright closing costs- guess what we will walk away with? $550,000 That’s a loss of $200,000 of equity These people are overpaid for driving around, being pleasant and filling out some paperwork It’s A Scam It makes me sick

Anyone who would like to reply with knowledge would be appreciative: What if you know nothing about how or what all you need to sell your house yourself instead of THOUSANDS or 6 to a Relator I heard you could pay a title company to do the paperwork instead and save thousands? My house is over $300K or even 400K currently so curious about Capital gain and how it works if you lived in it for 2 years? Does that mean anytime I have owned it? I have owned it since 1997, or 25 years now, and rented it out twice for a couple of years from 2010 to about 2012 or 2013, and have moved back in since Does that mean I don't pay up to 250K and above that, I pay Cap Gain?

Worst video, 5 for real estate agents, Capital gains tax ID it's less than 2 years, the rest is far less than 1 if you're selling a house over 300k
