10 kt will stand the test of time and should not ever lose its actual gold color, 10 and 14 both have chances of oxidation aka tarnish which you can simply polish 10 kt is still real solid gold and has scrap and pawnable value ,not just that but it's more durable and can outlast 14 kt because of its higher ratio of metals So 10 kt is not only a more affordable option to own real gold it's more long lasting and lesser chances of fragility I would be more concerned with people buying or investing in 1/20th, gold filled,gold plated, electro plate, hge or gold tone etc etc than 10 kt

Was looking for a chain and went with 10k, 5mm Miami Cuban I'm not a chain pro, but can barley tell the difference between 10k and 14k The only difference I see is price I know about the gold purity and all that, so save your breath I went with something more durable, and in the end feel ok about it The 10k looks good and feels good I'll stash my nickels and dimes for another Omega Seamaster while wearing my 10k cuban ✌️

properly made 10k with the right added alloys will never tarnish over years it may get dull depending on how much sweat dirt and oil gets on the item however you can easily polish it with a special cloth and it will be like new

I have 10K gold, 14K gold and 18K gold jewellery pieces Any gold jewellery could slightly turnish over time regardless of the gold percentage Even if it turnished slightly over the years, it is so easy to clean it to restore the shine, so it really all comes down to what you can afford and prefer I personally prefer 14K and 18K gold, but not because 10K gold jewellery would not last It is because I like the richer colour of 14K and 18K yellow gold

10k all the way I have a few 24k jewelry and they tend to get ugly in color, change over time and just look sometimes orange color even after cleaning and polishing but with my 10k jewelry I just use hot water, baking soda and dish soap to make it look gold again, shiny and looks good also it doesn't change over time and little scuff marks etc are easier to get rid of at home I just like 10k due to the color and it brings out a lot of contrast making it more noticeable
