This is only my fourth day riding ima small dude only weigh 145 pounds riding on an 07 Yamaha vstar classic 650, at first I was anxious as heck but watching this video definitely helped especially today when I worked up the courage to go past first gear it was smooth and simple to do I know this video is old but thanks a bunch for making it super helpful and straight to the point can’t wait to get back on my vstar again and go past 30mph first three times only went 10-15 😂🤦🏽 loving the throttle therapy ❤

I’m 52 now and got my first Trike 2 years ago I’d never ridden a motorcycle in my life I was surprised during my MSF class how quickly I got this It just came naturally,but I can understand how for many people this would be so confusing It’s not for everyone

thanks, can u please also show how to find neutral when standing still, and somehow neutral cannot be found btwn 1-2 and 2-1 I heard that happens when bike is old, overheated or some technical issues But overall that is very essential question esp for the novice drivers

I’m enjoying the bike so far wwwyoutubecom/post/UgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA My only real complaints are the brakes and the pedals I feel like a bike designed for bigger people should have much larger pedals and more heavy duty brakes I’ve only gotten two really good rides out of it, minimal downhill action, and the brakes feel like they’re already going out A larger person has more momentum, so I think this wasn’t thought through very well Also, I wear size 13-14 wide shoes My feet cramp up on these pedals that are clearly made for smaller feet Since I’m not a pro rider (and I don’t think many are who purchase this bike) I don’t think that the straps on the pedal are necessary at all None of this takes away from the enjoyment I get from riding, however I’ll just head to a bike shop to improve on a few things
