Oil and water don't mix because oil is hydrophobic, they don't stick together That's a good thing herebrThe engine also needs to heat up before moving too (coolant and oil are viscous when cold)

I don't drive automatic but cruising in neutral on a slope saves a bit fuel compared to leaving it in gear For our car it is the case when the (Diesel) consumption is 2l/100km and below

It kills me, you talk about driving a car in neutral for an automatic but yet you display a manual driven car The brake was NEVER being pressed in the side by side portion In stead the driver was pressing the clutch peddle In an Automatic you never want to shift in to neutral while coasting downhill Your RPMs drop to idle and your transmission winds down When you throw it back in to Drive your transmission is having to go from a “stopped” idle speed back to top gear With a clutch it’s still not smart to go to neutral (although I have done it MANY times), but you are able to press you gas peddle to increase your RPM’s, press the clutch in, and back in to what ever gear you need to be in In an emergency you can throw the car back in to a gear with a manual causing little to no harm to your transmission In an automatic you take a higher risk of tearing your transmission up Your information is garbage
