It says the School Loan place (NelNet) will contact you, but my husband was recently rated 100 (in April) and no one has contacted us The site listed for discharge is glitching and the phone # has an hour wait If they didn't contact us, does that mean we don't qualify for the discharge??

But it only takes care of what was incurred from the date of your actual award We found that out when we were checking for our, now adult, children They had to be loans that were taken out from my adjudication date forward, not beforehand

Yeppers! When I got SSDI and TDIU I filled out the formsAll my federal student loans were forgiven Key word "Federal"I wanted to go back to school years later I was told I couldn't get federal loans because my previous loans were forgiven I would have to wait said amount of years before I could apply for federal aid and actually qualify I want to say it was ten years but don't quote me on that
