So, if I start work on SSDI in 2025 and make 1600 a month gross for 9 months that's a twp? If I still gross 1600 a month after the twp how long can I work under the SGA limit before losing my benefits? I have a question not at all related to the subject matter at hand but hopefully o can recive some help I was receiving SSI BEFORE THE age of 22 iam now 37 and started my SSI benefits in the year 2005 now I had a representative payee who was my grandma and upon her passing in 2016 my sister became my payee well Social Security messed up and continued to send all my documents to my deceased grandma instead my sister who was my newly appointed representative payee I lost my SSI benefits in 2016 because of this well any I fought and fought for 3years finally getting my benefits back in 2019 but now my father is receiving is retirement benefits and my mother just turned 62 in October in her SSI just turn to Social Security but they're telling me I'm not entitled to childhood benefits do you know of away that I can argue that because I believe they are going by the date that my SSI got reinstated which is 2019 instead of 2005 when they initially started just figured I would ask or if you know anybody that can answer that or how can I argue this because I was disabled before 22

I drew SSDI in the late’80s-‘90s for being legally blind (all kinds of problems including severe nystagmus), but the payments ended when I got a job for a government contractor I’m still there but I’m 63 now and my vision isn’t getting any better, now have floaters from retina issues I’m sure the requirements have tightened since I was a approved in 1988 I think I’m going to try and apply again

I draw SSDI and this scares me if they take what I'm getting each month and this is all I draw and I'm barely making ends meet as it is nowwow ! I will be homeless if this happens, I don't draw enough as it is already I pray they help us all that are needing extra money cuz we don't get enough to make end meet as it is People are struggling to make it cause everything is going up, including rent, groceries and necessities We worked and paid in so we should get more help ! I don't even draw enough so yes any amount more we can get would certainly help as long as they don't take what we drawing each month This is getting very scary 😱😢

Hey Matt I am on the volunteer try going back to work So for 9 months I can make as much as I want and I still get my ssdi check and on the 10 th month they evaluate my income And I will probably lose my ssdi I will average over $500000 a month and still get my whole ssdi check Hope I can last going back to work Hope it works out and I can get off of ssdi and out of poverty almost lost my house because my income over last few years just did not cover everything So I am trying to go back to work and stay working Hopefully I am good enough and works out for me Fingers and toes crossed Some time I really struggle with work but so far I am doing it

I have a daughter that is on SSDI when she was growing up she decided she wanted to be on her own at 16 She hardly worked because she didn't want anyone telling her what to do even though she could I dont think its right that I had to file for my Social Security at 62 and she almost was getting what I got Her not working at all and filed for SSDI it took her a few tries but she managed to get approved, I retired in 12-2021 after working 37 years and I get a little over $100000 a month i feel people getting more than me is not fair
