Thanks You didn't mention going through airport security, since you cannot wear a money belt Putting the cash on the conveyor belt while you get tied up with TSA in the xray machine puts your money at risk of being stolen To me, this risk is valid, no matter what amount -- $500, $1000, etc Any suggestions?

You didn't mention the biggest problem-Civil Asset Forfifture These Govt thugs can arbitrarily decide that since you're carrying a large ammouunt of cash, you must be a criminal & they just confiscate it No trial, no due process, no conviction, etc Good luck on getting it back It will take years plus legal fees H9rror stories abound
