Unfortunately Canon once again took crap on us canon users by discontinuing the Canon PowerShot G5 X Mark II A fantastic point and shoot that instead of seeing a Mark III version of it, the G5X Mark II simply disappeared into obscurity Which is pretty sad because it pretty much stood above most other P&S cameras

G5x ii has contrast detect auto focus not the dual pixel auto focus Honestly it still autofocuses well but it does not have the DPAF system you mention

Always happy to see the G5X Mark II mentioned in videos like this, but you are incorrect about the flash It has a built in flash and no hot shoe, the opposite of what was mentioned in the video The pop-up flash is in the center next to the pop-up viewfinder So the downside is that it has no hot shoe, unlike many past Canon G series cameras Thanks
