It may be a great little receiver but the speaker is absolutely terrible! I also have a €15 D-328 and it sounds way better than this €80 model! I also like to use it to listen to music on FM and this thing sounds very muffled No high frequencies I'm really disappointed they put such a crappy speaker in an otherwise very good radio I might put a decent speaker in there myself Comment from : @Ni5ei |

I have several radios The D808 is the least favourite of all The soft muting "chuffing" when tuning is intolerable The Tecsun PL680 is in a different league, it doesn't rely on a DSP chip, it's very sensitive and the tuning is beautifully smooth with no muting The Raddy RF919 is another radio that suffers badly from muting Comment from : @bobwhitenstall3148 |
