What about IP law? Lawyer's eye lit up when I said I'm doing computer science and she saw i had a decent grasp of the DC traffic law and how to game the court system (I think she liked my thought process) She really wants me to get a JD and pursue IP law

I am a patent agent at a decent sized firm Part of your thoughts I agree with (in terms and associates do all the work), but the attorneys I work for are still honest to the client about whether coverage will be narrow or broad, etc, so I disagree that the only person who will give an honest opinion are the parallegals

If you dont mind me asking, how much was the starting entry salary in the China law firm? Great video and insight into the unfortunate reality of law firms doing whatever they can to get a client even though it might not be in the greatest interest for the client to get a patent
