The best gift a child with an ADHD diagnosis can receive is skills and a trade before they leave school This is ultimately what will make the biggest difference to their life That is not an easy task with a child with an ADHD diagnosis, but any skills such as carpentry plumbing hairdressing etc will place them in a stronger position to build their own self employed life rather than relying on the rigid system of school, qualifications, and employment Skills are more important than qualifications for an ADHD child and I would argue the goal of self employment is an essential ingredient for a happy life Comment from : @internetmail3888 |
