I notice a lot of these videos from different doctors seem to focus on the parent My problem isI need to know how to get my child to focus I have no problem focusing or controlling my energy but I need actual tips and tricks to get my child to focus When I try to explain things to him, I have a difficult time even getting him to focus his eyes on me How do I do something as simple as that?brbrWhile I know this will get frowned upon, I've had to resort to tapping him on the cheek and telling him "pay attention" when he's wandering off and staring off while i'm trying to explain something I don't like doing this but i feel its better than raising my voice

My son has all the symptoms of ADHD but his paediatrician says he does not have it He CANNOT stay still and only wants the foods that are filled with sugar! Every day is depressing for me🤦🏾‍♀️

I also get overstimulated by sound, and my 7yo is very talkative I will have to use the timer bit; What I tell them right now is “I have too many words in my head right now Can you hold your questions?” I never make it about them - like saying “you talk too much” or anything like that

i never knew I had ADHD all my life until now; I am 43 and I now realize why I find my now 11-year-old to be exactly the same as me;he is also having ADHD, hyperactive and impulsive while my elder one, a teen, falls into inattentive category

How do you give equal/fair treatment when you have multiple children When one of them has ADHD You dont want to give a signal to the other children that the AHDH child can get "away" with not lissening or that its oke when he/she interups
