Very surprised to find MSC bottom of the list we loved the buffet on board and the evening meals in the restaurants are really good to ! I will agree that the entertainment on board isn’t very good !

As someone who has been cruising for 25 years my two least favorite cruise brands are Virgin and Princess Virgin- I don't like the performances or the modern decor The food is fairly good Princess- the food is terrible and bland except the specialty dinning but the Alaskan ports are amazingbrbrMy current favorite cruise line is RC I just feel like they are crushing it brbrBut hey I'm only a 36yo married girl dad with about 60 cruises under his belt what do I know

Princess Cruise is my favorite because they had less kid oriented activities and catered more to 40 and up and very few families or young party types Pros: Cabin, Ship decor Cons: Foods so so, I am American and not crazy about international foods, , except in Crown Grill, the only spericalty restuarant that suited my taste Enertainment is limitedbrCruise lines that I hate ecause they are familiy and party oriented: RC Carnival, NCL, DisneybrMy next cruise - Celebrity

I have been on Disney & Royal Caribbean (older ship) I loved the layout on Royal The food experience is fun on Disney, but it was difficult to find good food at off timesAs an adult, the bars are spread out on Royal & easier to find Disney had great bars, but I did not like the locations Overall, I would say families with small children would enjoy Disney Older children definitely will enjoy Royal As an older adult with grown-up children, so far I love Royal The only other cruise line I have been on was Oceania It's definitely a destination cruise I went to the Mediterranean Food in the main dinning room was excellent Not a cruise for children or excitement

Quit using the pandemic as an excuse for psychopath corporate greed! Cruise lines lost a few pennys and have long since paid back all of their losses ALL of the cuts to services are 100 for greed and wanting to give executives massive bonuses and investors huge dividends

MSC Yacht Club is a completely different and better experience than outside YC Private pool, hot tubs, sun deck, restaurant, breakfast/lunch buffet, lounge with snacks, and extraordinary service Solid 10/10

Celebrity??? Are you kidding! We had the worst food and the worst staff ever on a Celebrity cruise from Boston to Reykjavik The food was monotonous and boring The staff was so disorganized for shore excursions Ask questions and the answers are completely different depending on who you ask We and the other friends we were sailing with said never again Horrible, horrible experience

MSC food is pretty bad But price is great If that’s all you can afford or if you want to take multiple cruises and don’t want to pay a lot I would suggest trying it I’m going on my second in March

You are spot on! My husband and I are in our 50s and we love the low-key vibe and beauty of Celebrity Cruises We have done Carnival cruises and while fun, as you mentioned it is definitely more of a party ship, swinger pineapple signs on doors and all!

Great, comprehensive overview that points out the plus or minuses you've had from your personal experience, and wonderful breakdown on who each individual cruise line could be a good fit for, and who might want to choose a different line I would like to point out a correction: you stated the Serenity area on Carnival came at an extra charge It does not - it is included for all guests 21 and older (Maybe you were thinking of the Havana deck area, which is 12 and older, and in order to have all-day access you have to book a Havana cabin?)

Very informative video You mentioned Holland America at the end We took our very first cruise with Holland America to Alaska It was recommended to us by a travel agent It was a total BUST Save your money After spending almost 10K for a balcony room, it was a very disappointing cruise The food was mediocre (overly salted COD and Halibuts, over cooked Salmon) worst of all, is the watery scrambled eggs Food was just poorly seasons and not fresh Even the specialty dinning the Pinnacle Steak House was not anything to recommend Entertainment is almost non existence They do have talks regarding the Glacier Bay NP which was interesting A lot of sick people on the ship so joining the Orange party wasnt an option for us We recently cruise with NCL, NCL was 100 better cruise line than HAL

Interesting points I agree regarding MSC I actually lost weight when we sailed on Euribia earlier this year We sailed with P&O a couple of weeks later, and the food was better That was a slightly strange experience, as it felt like we were the only non-British people on board However, I can't forgive what P&O did to our beloved Pavlova I took photos and have shared far and wide since returning home By the time im finished, half of Australia will know the Brits do strange and unnatural things to our beloved national dish You have P&O to thank for that 🧐😅

CUNARD WAS AWFUL we took bad advice and did a Transatlantic cruise on Cunard in their Princess Grille Worst way to spend $10,000 The room was small for the price The food was trying too hard to be fancy and failed Its all elderly retired people that just drink all day Minimal activities especially considering there are no port days! The worst was we were having such a bad experience that we wanted to just stay in our room, but theres no on demand TV or movies We got books from the library Miserable 7 days
