I always read that Maslow's Esteem need was external esteem, rather than self-esteem which belongs in Self-Actualization Lately, I've seen it listed, as you have it, as Self-esteem And yet, that was not the way you verbally described it

Probably all made up in the mind of an Autistic person who cant feel love and therefore does not believe love and attachment exist (love means a oxytocin release), brSo this a Slaver(wolf) trying to work out how to motivate the slaves(sheep)brI know this because im now a Shepard , Which is a wolf that has felt an oxytocin release so we know now that the Sheep live in love and attachment and its all chemistry nothing to do with language

Can I ask more of a philosophical question?: Exactly what is motivation? brIt seems like it's a certain connection between our reasons and desires But we can have still have reasons/desires that we don't act on, so is there something extra involved? I'm not sure this is answered by the content theoriesbrI'm thinking something like in the case of addiction: Someone might have all the reasons/desires to quit but still not give up their addiction It's like they need something extra, like motivation, to actually commit to quitting

1in terms of mayo's motivation theory ,low norms & cohesiveness is not "no impact" , i think its call " lazy"br2reinforcement theory looks very similiar to consumer behaviour learning call classical and operant leanring, they have the same stimulus and reinforcement, just become condition and uncondition,br3 self-efficacy theory should include "psychological"brbroverall thank you very much :)
