I’m in “buy now pay later” debt…🤦🏼♀️ I feel like there’s no longer credit card debt in this generation and it’s this whole buy now pay later BS that traps me …brit’s amazing to have something upfront, but good God they don’t tell you about the interest😑 and maybe they do, but they definitely keep it in a very fine print And by the time you find out how much the interest is it’s way too late I’m having serious buyers remorse on some Metallica tickets that I bought for my fiancés birthday It’s his favorite band of all time, and how awesome to be able to fulfill his dream of seeing them by being able to get him tickets that I don’t even have to pay for upfront! And it was so easy, get your tickets now and pay for them in monthly installments! It seemed like a birthday dream come true…brBut these are tickets that are two rows away from the stage, and also have an added on enhanced experience… 1000 something dollars apiecebrOK, I’m assuming he’s worth it at this point, until I go into the app and I see how much they actually will be after I pay them off 😬😬 almost $4000!!!!!!🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ yeah it’s all fun and bands until you see how much interest they’re tacking onto those payments😣😣 brTalk about your temporary gratification …brI’ve done the whole buy now pay later thing a few times, but this is my first ever huge purchase using it brLesson learned … brFor small realistic purchases, the instant gratification is pretty amazing But I do not recommend anybody using these buy now Pay later options on anything over $500😣 I literally feel like I’m back to making car payments again on this crap, because in order to pay it off, you literally have to go broke in order for that interest to not take over! May work for stagnant debt, but for cumulative debt like tax debt that continues to pile on with new tax debt every year it’s impossible I have searched for a video that may help with this issue but I cannot find a caller with this sort of debt If you own an apartment in Australia you also have levies that are about 2k a quarter indefinitely and increase every couple of years If you fall back on these you can lose your place The interest on this is ridiculous if you don’t pay on time however each quarter you get a fresh 2k added to your debt When you’re already living on the bare minimum expenses to keep a roof over your head and food / utilities, it’s a never ending debt cycle that you cannot escape I would like to see you or Dave or anyone talk about cumulative debt and not just personal loan and credit card debt Comment from : @YY-jv4uu |
