You live with your parents so emergency fund isn’t that important as your parents might be able to help you or pay the bills A lot of us need emergency fund incase we lose our jobs etc so having savings is a requirement

Took us 5 and a half years to get out of debt including the mortgage We only pay cash for things now so if we don't have the money, we save for it until we can pay for it Any excess money is invested for building future wealth

I just finally paid off my $9000 credit card I'm so relieved I have like 3,000 in savings but that's definitely not enoughi want to also pay off my car by next year so I've got to work on building up my savings and pay extra on my car note I'm glad i at least got the credit card out the way

I was told I should have $1000 in a savings account in case I have an emergency so I don't have to tap into the credit card (if I happen to have no cash available) 😌

What I did was a balance transfer to a card that had no interest for 15 months! Saved me so much PLEASE NOTE, there is a balance transfer fee of 2-5 of the balance being transferred Even with this it was still cheaper than that monthly interest
