I would send some oz coins to convert to buy into it There has to be a way to add expenses to the ledger, as in shipping and more importantly, storage and security fees that must be rolled into each purchase and sale transaction Precious metals don't offer dividends or collect interest , but they do require secure storage So people's storeage fees can vary greatly depending on size of holdings vs length of time in storage, just as shipping fees would vary greatly if someone wanted to convert back into delivery of the real bullionbrI was wondering why Mike Maloney of Hidden Secrets of Money hasn't create a metal backed crypto coin yet

A problem with gold is it can be faked with a similar weight metal as it is often done Also, how do you cash it in, send it do others, transport large amounts to other countries, prevent theft, and more While there will ever be only 21 million BTC one day likely gold will be mined in large amounts from asteroids which come from the middle of broken planets - gold is heavy and sinks lower to accumulates there
