After almost a year with this head unit I’ve noticed it only needs a music signal If you stream from your phone just turn the volume to the lowest setting on your phone and let the head unit take over from there

You had me at volume knob I hate having to overthink turning down the volume at the drive through or if I get pulled over (real scenario - couldn't think fast enough to turn it down because there is no knob on my current unit New city, with new traffic patterns, and I did an illegal U-turn right in front of a cop Very nervous and that stupid volume got to me as he walked up and started asking me to turn it down I was flustered and told him I'm working on it)brbrI am in the process of getting a new unit that does indeed have a volume knob But it is in the center on the bottom like Chevy vehicles which I also don't like Would like it to be upper or lower left Picky I know

i bought coil overs from MAXSPEEDINGRODS and they are AWESOME! 300$ for my civic and they really handle well 2 months later and they are finally set at the height i wanted no complaints other than the strut boot covers were set in place after install they contacted me after i gave them my review and said it was nothing to worry about

They’re out with a newer model that has USB-C, Android 13 & a 36 band EQ but it doesn’t specify if it kept 51 stereo Would love a revisit of that unit to see if it’s still a great performer with external amp!

The only reason why I wouldn’t want a knob or USBs on the front of the unit is because it muddies up the dash of my car when I already have a volume knob, I would rather get a unit that can hook up to the factory knob and use my wheel control I have a Chrysler 300, and would love to get rid of the god awful sounding uconnect system for something that doesn’t distort, and doesn’t auto cut frequencies at certain volume levels to protect their cheap speakers… seriously, stock base model speakers from ford sound better…

The factory music player was limited to 12,000 songs for me brbrPoweramp and foobar2000 works, but its buggy and crashes often on both This was the reason i bought it Even the play store kept crashing Plus if youre like me and used to changing bass boost from 0 to 3 on a pioneer depending on the song, there isnt any quick way to do it here brbrTl;dr if you don't use android auto/car play/built in player/Bluetooth, i wouldn't buy this

Bought the head unit I like the DSP Nobody needs 8 output channels though, I have like two or three wired up It's glitchy, and the bluetooth is slow, but nothing has broken

Purchased this unit and I connected my “amp c” wire to my factory amp and external amp as I had it previously on my old radio and it’s not turning my amp on It’s the pink cable on the rca harness Can’t figure out if there is an amplifier switch in the settings or not, I don’t see any

thats a parabolic eq not a parametric eq parametric sets the curves for set points and they dont change parabolic changes the curves at any point, there is a differene i use parabolic term a lot on my channel in refernce to dayton audio dsp and people try to correct me and say parametric i shake my head and give the explanation of the 2 i like your channeland your videos i promise im not hating just saying id ;ike to know your thoughts on this

I wonder why no head unit has a rms above 15? 11 watts x4 7volts on subs I have a sound digital 4004 that fits in the palm of my hand That tech could easily fit inside a head unit Micro amps out perform head unit amps and that’s just dumb!

Internals look exactly the same as every other chinese android head unit you can find right now from as low as $40 up to $1000 Only difference between them is slight changes to the housing and front inputs, and the software that comes preloaded They're all totally unlocked so you can root them and install any version of android and any car audio software you want on them if you don't like the stuff that comes preloaded I have one friend that spent $300 on one from ebay, another that spent $100 on amazon, and I just bought one recently on amazon for $40, they are all exactly the same unit Ironically the most expensive one was the only one that had any problems, when we went to add subs to the radio anytime we connected the RCA's the door speakers would cut out and only the subs would play, I searched through the settings for hours trying to find something that could be causing it, even stranger, when we just said f it and bough a loc to bypass this issue, whenever we connected the RCA's to the loc the same thing happened again, and I was left totally baffled HOW could the door speakers not be playing if the loc is getting its signal from them? Never did figure it out Ended up having to get an amp for the door speakers too

Watched this 3 times and was very interested until I caught the boot up time of 45 seconds so I checked my other car which has a Kenwood Excelon DDX396 and the boot time for it is 16 seconds via key turn on until sound on FM and about 3 seconds longer to sound with USB on I figure 45 seconds is unacceptable and will annoy me immensely Checking in to XTRONS with volume knob as well

That's a nice one I haven't seen yet, Looking at options for my recently bought magnum You forgot to mention, the ability to run both a dashcam, as well as a backup cam, off the head unit (it's in the description) with all the bad drivers out there, a little protection is needed

So i literally just installed this in my 06 rsx after having bought a cheap chinese knock off 2 years ago… bought this because of the wireless carplay, volume knob, being able to watch netflix or youtube, mirrorplay, and honestly my last unit was trash brbrGotta say i am absolutely in love with this thing for its price point nothing can beat it brbrBoot time is super quick I turn on my car and its paired with carplay in 5-10 seconds brbrI haven’t had any issues with the touch screen at all so far Smoother than the “Heiha” double din i had brbrUsb port for fast charging works perfectly brbrUsb for downloaded wallpapers and movies work perfectly Rewatched Spiderman no way home on it, quality was good Resolution is 16:9 ratio so most movies look fine brbrSound quality is great Max Volume on my last unit was 35 and i never needed more than that On this unit 30 is good enough but i it can go louder My rsx factory speakers sound great with this thing Planning to do a system so i guess this was worth it in the long runbrbrHonestly im glad i got this over atoto because some of them dont even have knobs or the physical buttons are too small Bigger brands cost too much and have way less features that i need brbrInstalling was super easy although i had to plot and drill holes on my actual honda brackets but idc i can get that at any junkyard or ebay

this was such a bad ass thorough review I bought a $60 Dual touch screen and it was terrible everything about it was garbage I've ran Maxpeedingrods coilovers, but never expected them to get into car audio too I'm impressed with the RCA outputs and DSP and ability to watch movies, I'll probably buy this with intention of pairing it with a 4 channel amp thanks for the vid
