I have a $2000 Kenwood hero unit in one of my vehicles Half of the features have been depricated due to changes with android It also refuses to auto start Android Auto I also have a $120 PLZ in my Miata (because I didnt want to have an expensive deck in my convertible) Guess which one works better software wise? I'm not very knowledgeable about this kind of equipment but one thing that annoys me with my current Bluetooth head unit is it takes some time after start up to connect with my phone (and I don't want to connect it via wires)brIs there an option out there for a head unit with internal storage? Awesome video, really really good I was inclined to buy the Alpine ILX-705D but when i saw your in-depth video I was a little disappointed as the Android Auto is only WIRED connection (during this video you said it was wireless carplay and android auto, but it's only wired) I've checked your website and it does say it's wired, only the US version (ILX-507) has both wired and wireless Nonetheless, great video, now I'm more inclined towards the Sony XAV AX-6050, beautiful head unit, very minimalistic, I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to audio, but I've heard good things about the Sony Cheers!
