Thr first thing you wish you would have known is that the college is a scam and so are their degrees It's laughable They have a PHD course in Psychology yet you cannot get licensed as a Psychologist in any of the 50 states with their phd degree Scam Comment from : @MidnightVentures |

You should either update this video or remove it This has not been my experience at all I've been attending for almost two years and will graduate in a few months I've never even heard of Toolwire You can receive virtual assistance from instructors; I've had instructors made YouTube videos and offer their own personal email address and phone numbers with the offer to call/email anytime for assistance There is also a section for questions regarding the material in each class in BlackBoard I've attended another online university as well as attended my local community college's online (and physical) locations and found the material to be the same with Phoenix; not any harder or easier Phoenix uses the same books, programs, and teaching tools that most other major universities use A friend of mine goes to a major local university here in the city (one of the top in the nation) and we did an actual side-by-side comparison; it's exactly the same material What it boils down to is this: the University of Phoenix gets a bad rep because it's "for profit" and it was one of the first schools to offer online classes It's been mocked by other schools because many feel that the online environment is not a productive environment to learn in If you think about it, all schools are "for profit" even the ones who label themselves otherwise UoP is labeled a degree mill, however, this is not the case The material, as I've stated, is on par with other universities, and you cannot slack off and expect to pass their courses They do make you work You can get assistance from your academic counselor at any time; mine has always been available and helpful Also, UoP IS regionally accredited, as are other universities UoP is absolutely no different in that respect Students need to use their common sense and decide if online learning is for them Online learning takes a different type of discipline than going to the physical, brick and mortar location The problem here is not the school; it's that the students don't use common sense and think through these things There is nothing wrong with the UoP, their staff, their programs, or their degrees Comment from : @ginap4386 |

I know three people who graduated None got a teaching job They spoke Spanish Too easy Reject school! Comment from : @ratherbfishing455 |

This place condones the "False victimization syndrome" Rather than calling the staff out on unprofessionalism, being inadequate, and non effective in their duties integrated with lack of knowledge and accountability (ie Rene Angelero and Sonya in the MA education department) I wouldn't recommend this place not even for a dog pound I have never experienced the blatant disrespect I have received ever in life Don't think you're going to be able to defend your opinion and be respected to agree to disagree After withdrawing from there, these people attempted to block me from starting the next semester at a desired local school without justifiable cause I wish I could witness these people get their karma, if they haven't already SAY NO TO THE UOP Comment from : @msparker5884 |
|
I almost fell for this trap so glad I didn’t Comment from : @nickmoseley5968 |

When I picked my school I actually used a platform called edx and compared the academics to the classes I took on edx that were actually published by MIT, Harvard, Cornell, and Georgetown and the rigor was almost identical Comment from : @josephparker646 |

I’m about sue Phoenix, honestly They withdrew me without any notification and know they are saying I owe them $1,100 I used my FASFA to pay for it, but they said my parents income was wrong Like first of all, they’re not parents so how would they know what my parents income is? So I gave them my parents socials so they could get the tax information their selves, as they recommended, but THEY DIDN’T DO IT Phoenix has a graduate rate of 16 and now I know why They suck, and they’re definetly not getting $1,100 from me for being stupid Comment from : @iluvyousavanna123 |

Im doing this as a last resort I just want something to get a quick job so I can go back to my original degree Geophysics Comment from : @annabellelecter1926 |

This is what a typical UoP graduate wished they would've known these six things before enrolling:br1 It's a for-profit degree millbr2 Nearly zero employers will accept your degree from that degree millbr3 The degree mill only has one purpose which is making moneybr4 Most students who enroll at that degree mill will eventually transfer or drop outbr5 The degree mill has one of the lowest freshman retention rate rankings of all time in its existencebr6 Most graduates who graduated from that degree mill have deep regrets attached to them for even considering of enrolling at that degree mill for that worthless piece of paper Comment from : @user-yr3uj6go8i |
|
These things can be said about any online school Comment from : @TWDxKILL3R |
